At GBC there has been alot of work going on. The streets are talking and people are helping this great charitity teach people and keep those aware of the HIV/Aids awareness fresh on mind. This charity has helped alot of the homeless off the streets of houston as well as fed and clothes hundreds of people who are without. Calvin Tarver has been talked about and lied on by many other charities who are just upset at the progress this non-profit charity has done. In the past year this charity gave jobs to teens for the summer talk boys how to men and girls how to be strong hardworking women. Things around his came are always positive even when someone comes with a negative. The smiles on the people who work with him will tell it all. There were people using drugs who never thought that they could change there lives around and help keep other from making the same mistake by just waking up each day and hitting the streets with flyer and shirts and the knowledge to keep you on your feet. Calvin Tarver is determined to help as many people as he can work, stay off drugs, and learn about safe sex practices in all communities around him. He travels all over houston not just in his neighborhood but wherever he can go spread the word about safe sex and hard work. I love to see this charity grow and other like him to work together and keep our city strong and smart. Help our children learn from our own mistakes and how to think for themselves and not others. This is what this charity is about help people and this great charity is something we have needed for a very long time someone who is not scared to get out on the streets and get themselves dirty to make sure that everyone who needs help gets it. I recommend this charity to anyone who is looking to help the community do better and help others get on there feet.
